The Invisalign Process
Your Invisalign treatment process will begin with a consultation and your comprehensive treatment plan will begin to be discussed and created. Our team will be able to answer any questions you may have and we’ll give you an estimate for how long your treatment should ideally take. Then, you’ll have digital impressions taken of your teeth, and your first set of aligners will be created. Once you’ve tried your first Invisalign aligner on in our office and determined that it fits comfortably, you’ll want to wear your aligner between 20 and 22 hours a day, or any time you are not eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth. After your treatment is complete, we’ll take new impressions to make your retainer.
Benefits of Using Invisalign
There are many reasons patients ultimately choose Invisalign for their orthodontic treatment. Invisalign offers flexibility for patients, because they can be removed whenever you want to remove them. They are also discreet and don’t stand out against the teeth the way metal braces do. Other benefits of Invisalign include:
- Virtually Unnoticeable
- Comfortable to Wear
- Easy to Clean
- No Food or Activity Restrictions
- Fast Treatment Plans
- Safe and Effective
How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
Clear aligners used to be far more expensive than metal braces, but in recent years the cost of Invisalign has been able to more or less match the cost of metal braces. Insurance plans frequently offer at least partial coverage for Invisalign, and Meason Orthodontics also accepts third-party financing through CareCredit®. Invisalign patients can also utilize payment plans through LendingPoint.
